Tara Quigley, RYT
As a nurse, Tara truly understands the importance of keeping the body moving. She was always very active and enjoyed working out. She tried yoga in her early 20’s but didn’t care for it at that time. Years later when she was training in muay thai kickboxing, she was mandated to take a weekly yoga class. Begrudgingly, she did what she was told and that’s when she realized yoga was not as bad as she thought. Even her daughter started going to class. “It wasn’t long before I realized that yoga was making me stronger and more flexible. But most importantly I was having fun, learning about myself, and spending quality time with my daughter. Yoga has truly made me a better person and a better parent.” Tara took the leap in 2014 to take part in a yoga teacher training program and earned her 200 hour certification. She had been teaching men, women, and children of all shapes and sizes ever since.
